So much-e-ous to sayz.

...
Wow that makes me sound like a gay.  that's right. "A" gay. :-p
(been watching a little too much stand up lately)

Just thought I would say hello to all the folk here.

Harris you rookie, I already have all that mario music.  I want to find a slide big enough to listen to the entire encore piece while goign down the slide.

Actually I have their cd if anyone wants a copy of it :-)  (which is basically just the same stuff they have on the webpage) Find me tasty music I don't have.  Oh, on a nifty note, depending on whether or not my parents' reciever is fixable or not (theirs broke, I bought them an upgrade, and now have their broken old one) I might have a large contribution to the home entertainment system in the livingroom next year.  Lucas's grandfather (who spent his life repairing these things) is taking a look at it for me.

As for harddrive deals, there were several times I modified webpages to get excellent Staples deals, but to the best of my knowledge they do not accept web offers anymore for price matching.  Apparently there were a lot of other people doing the same things.

There's always www.newegg.com, and I know www.tigerdirect.com was running a rebate deal on WD ATA and SATA 200g but I dunno if its still going on or not.  www.pricewatch.com is pretty good for finding places, but be wary or any places with low reviews.  Also check out www.techbargains.com and www.freeafterrebate.info for some other decent tech deals.  There are a bunch of other places I look at but cannot think of them offhand.  I'm not at my machine, and I've been too lazy to post my "favorites" online.

I highly recomment using RAID configurations as a system of data backup and redundancy.  HDs are so cheap anymore that if you value your data, its more than worth it.  I just got an 8x dvd burner and 50 blanks to empty enough off my drives to set up some data mirroring.  This makes me a happy puppy.  even though I am a cat person.

Hmmm.  (looking at blog... was there more to say...)

Oh, hey!  LAN Party in eastern PA :-o   sounds like fun.  But I think that is the weekend some of us were going to go visit Domeier and do some sort of "outside" activity.   ~ suddenly thinks of the possibility of having the first even lan party in the middle of the woods.   a thought that scares me, yet blows my mind simutaniously ~

Actually, I have a generator, some tarps, and a couple of switches.  Find a wireless isp and it woudl be time for some UT Under the Stars. (which I think would be a great high school prom theme)

Umm.  I guess that's it for me... for the moment.     -Shaggs

Aye, the Tails message board works fine for me too. I think Brando just hasn't figured out how to use the Internet yet ^^;

And @ the Mario big band stuff, totally awesomeness. My little bro <3s Mario, and if I decide to show that to him, I'm sure he'd pop a woody.

& @ B, you could always pull the deal where you bring a modified webpage into Staples ^^;

Brady, I'll be at the beach until the 14th but I shouldn't have any trouble if it is to be an evening affair. Sounds equally sexy to me. We should extend the invitation to any of the blogging community who would be willing to make the trip to eastern PA. I'm sure we manage to send them back on their transportation of choice sometime Sunday.

So, I went to the doctor for a check-up the other day and he told me I needed to go on the south beach diet. Blah. Lots of fun I assure you. Though it's not far from my eating habits at school. I really only can't eat bread and rice. Not too hard to give up. The food makes me feel full all the time though which is wierd. Hopefully I'll drop some weight though.

I bought a sweet external hard drive enclosure. This is going to be my back-up system from now on so I don't lose any more data like I just did. I really dislike losing my data. I'm kinda bitter. Anyway, this enclosure is pretty sweet. I'll probably bring it to the lan so you guys can see. I still need to buy a drive for it though. Anyone got any tips on where to buy cheap hard drives?

Adam, call me any day between 11am and 1 pm and I'll have some time to talk. You still working at the food processing place? How're things at home with Uncle Dex? Call me at home (717-834-3460).

Oh, Harris, your post was really anti-climatic as your link was broken.

Later all. (The new blogger interface actually let me edit this post. Impressed I am).

It sounds sexy.

More details please ^^

lawl... hi Adam! We don't have long distance here, so, yeah... I'm too lazy to wander next door and give ya a call. -_- If I get around to it, I'll call ya. ^^ You should call us. :รพ

and hi Brando! Heh, my harddrive suffered the same fate too... I heard it coming... constant clicking, computer freezing up... but I did nothing about it... and now I'm missing all my mp3s and video clips -_-;; Oh well, if I can ever find my backup CDs, I'll at least get the majority of them back.

Jon,  if you didn't check your email yet: our move-in date is Aug 22.  We start training on the 23rd@9:00am.  See ya

Jon, I got your message today.  I'm currently in Washington, D.C.  I guess that's roaming on my phone so that's why I didn't call back.  I'm just here for the weekend.  My dad had a meeting to be at here and so he decided to bring the whole family along and make a weekend of it.  I'm having a blast.

Today we all went to see the Smithsonian (sp?) museum of american history.  It was pretty sweet.  I also saw the new WWII memorial, the Lincoln monument, and some of the air and space museum.  I had a delicious dinner out, some good wine and a fine cigar with my dad.  It is 2 a.m. now.  I can't sleep for some reason.  I wandered around the hotel for a bit and found the "business center" where they're charging me for internet access :(  No biggie though.

Jason Brady you are a beeeoch.  You're not returning my phone calls.  Summer is like half over already and we haven't gotten together.  That jury duty excuse is wearing thin.  I don't work until 4 and only on weekdays.  We should do lunch or something.  If you don't call me soon I will hunt you down and hax you to death.

This computer is still running 98.  Pshaw.

Joshie, how you doing?  I'm not on AIM cause I live in duncannon where the electric hates computers.  So far we are down 1 hard drive (all my data that wasn't backed up is gone for good), 1 modem for sure and possibly another.  I'm moving someplace far more urban than duncannon some day.  Is reliable electricity and broadband that much to ask?

I got a new (to me) car if anyone didn't know, or cares.  It looks just like the old one but has all the luxury features, an oldsmobile eighty-eight.  It's pretty sweet.

Anyway that's as much about how I'm doing as you're going to get for $3.95.  Everyone else, check in!  Talk to you all soon.

P.S. I love you too, Jon.
