'git r dun' is from Larry the Cable Guy. He took part in Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engaval(sp?)'s Blue Collared Comedy Tour. Comedy Central showed the tour with those 3 + another. Afterwards, they had a solo bit for Larry, and that's where his popularity has sprung from. You're 'in the country' (as you say, although it's far from 'country' imho :þ) now, so you oughta start learning to enjoy it and not set aside others for being different. ^-^ But that joke from the lazy-eyed guy: lawl! I <3 bad puns.

That's really about all I have to post about though. Nothing real exciting or noteworthy happening in my life. Erin is moving to Colorado in 3 days. I've been sitting here. That's about it.

An update.

From the I am still alive dept. Although the money was really good, after 16 days straight at a coal-burning power plant, 12.5 hours a day in a dangerous environment, I can say that I am happy to be out of there. It’s hard to go to Liberty again though... I went from making ~$19/ hour to $6.50/ hour... though bricks don't fall on my head at Liberty, so its a fair trade.

I had surgery last week, removing bumps on my body that shouldn't of been there. It knocked me out. I slept (involuntarily) most of the time between Thursday evening to Monday morning. I was planning to go visit Domeier with Katy, which didn't happen because I just wasn't physically up for it. I half passed out and nearly wrecked Friday night, which led to my decision not to go. On a related note I believe Katy hates me and never wants to talk to me again. I feel really shitty about the whole situation.

On the topic of ruining friendships, Stephan seems upset with me and I keep neglecting to contact him so we can talk. Not actively neglecting, I just forget till its really late. (10 pm is really late for me now.) So, if you happen to be Stephan, I'm really sorry I never called you back. I just got your new cell number. Apparently the one in my phone was wrong.

After 10 months, I got my Grand Am back, and broke down within 24 hours. Apparently the hole in the radiator, the root of my engine freezing up problem, was never actually fixed. And the AC is broke. And I needs some tires. And the interior is busted up some. But at least I have it back in my name. It might be a piece of junk, but its my piece of junk, and I intend to fix it up again.

Other noteworthy.. um... notes. There are bunches of people I want to be in contact with that I'm not. I'm going to work on that. Still have some course work to make up, several personal projects I wish to complete as soon as I can, planning to build another system, and basically busy all the time. I just found out that everything I have to totally move out of my room, because my dad is planning to remodel it. So I will likely be living as SRU all winter. This also means I need to come up with an effective way to store/organize my stuff. Fun.

I guess that’s about it. I've fallen asleep typing this a couple of times, so I'm gonna jet.

Sorry I've been so long without a post. Dial-up has killed my former blogging fervor. So far my summer has been pretty good. I've been doing a little work for penndot. I'm what you might call a data analyst. I clean up data that will be added to a crash report database. It's the typical space-monkey type stuff. If error 785037250blahblah comes up then you hit the CD&L database button to look up the right driver's liscense info, etc. On the other hand I do have access to dmv databases like driver's liscense info and vehicle registration info. Oh and I make Xs on maps when the computer can't figure out where a crash happened, very sophisticated I assure you.

Lindsay spent some time on my side of the state until Sunday when she went home :(. On the bright side of the matter, she did get to go on vacation with my family to Ocean City, N.J. for the better part of a week. We got to do lots of fun things in Harrisburg too, like see the cow parade.

I got a pimp new car. No.. not really. My old car was fine but my grandpa bought his neighbor's car cause they're going into a retirement home. Man, I'm going to be an old people car coniseur. I look at the "new" car as just an upgrade. Same un-aerodynamic frame and burgundy color, but now I have power windows and locks, a bigger trunk, a spacious back seat and upholstry that would make any classy british sofa jealous.

Oh god do I live in the middle of nowhere; I dispare. Jocelyn and Jordan go to school with some of the most inbred, hillbilly I-don't-know-what's. They have not 1 but two friends who have a lazy eye. These guys talk sometimes and make jokes like "I can't keep a girlfriend cause she always thinks I'm seeing someone on the side."

Speaking of jokes, I don't know if this is a perry county thing or an everywhere thing but all of my siblings are running around saying, "Git R Dun." What the crap is that? I don't understand this phenomena nor do I wish to.

So, to conclude this long-winded report on my summer I shall summarize: A)I am a space-monkey. B)Lindsay is back to Pittsburgh now. ::cry:: C)I got a new car. (OH YEAH and it's got cruish control ::gush:: D)Perry country sucks.
