Bayesian Filter Follow up

I found out what the deal with the Bayesian Filter is. I emailed my Unix professor and asked her if she knew anything about it. She said that she knew that a Bayesian Filter HAD in fact been installed on SRU's mail server which is why I was getting my spam marked. I also asked if there was a place to send false positives so that the filter could be trained and she said that the false positive problem was very common around campus and was the reason why the junk mail was not deleted server side. She said she didn't know if the person in charge was interested in training the filter or not. My guess is not because that would take some time to process everyones false positives. But it's still pretty useful because I can tell outlook to delete all emails with "[SPAM]" in the title, except for those that come from people in my address book. Good stuff. They use the same "trainable" software with bank loans. They process past loans and train the software to identify which applicants will be able to pay off their loan and which ones won't. I think the concept of trainable software is called using a "neural network" or something akin to that. It's pretty interesting.

184 comment long flame war about ICP. Pretty funny. It comes down to "WELL IF U AIN"T DWON WIT DA CLOWN THAN U SHOLD JEST GO SUKC A DIK!!!!111 JUGGALAS AN JUGGALETTES FER LIFE YO" warning: thread has an intellegence rating of -2.

Oh God someone hold Adam back...

Mein Cumpf

The follow-up to the amazingly popular "Heil Titler", this German import offers some of the best porn this side of the Rhine. From the opening scene depicting two Aryan soliders sticking it to a Jewish concentration camp girl to the big money shot finale featuring the Furher himself in some of the best man/man/woman/goat/d uck footage ever captured.

The plot is minimal, which is to be expected in a film like this, but let's be frank - you don't watch porn for the story. Set to a thumping soundtrack of Rammstein dubbed under a very large German woman yelling "NEIN!" into the face of a weak solider. This will really get your swastika going, let me tell you! Next we get some really extreme stuff. I don't want to spoil it for you, but director Fritz Dickz has certainly found a creative use for a table lamp and a pair of ladies boots, that's for sure.

If you're looking for some hot, steamy Nazi porn then "Mein Cumpf" is the film for you. Be warned though, if you don't enjoy the sight of a man sticking his entire arm up to the shoulder inside a woman's ass then you may just want to wait for the next installment in the series, "Das boot....up das butt". Happy wackin!

Evil chicken game. Bad to play in the lab with a crappy ball mouse.

Ha Ha Ha. You shall all be addicted to frustrating games. >:D

Anyone else getting these?

I'm getting my spam labeled as such by a server somewhere on the net. A typical spam mail subject will look like this "[SPAM] SAVE TONS ON YORU CAR INSUARNCE ADKJLFJL:D bayesian filter detected spam" It's crazy. So I looked up WTF bayesian is and found this. Basically it's a filter that uses probabilities to single out spam. However, everywhere I see it on the net it is client side. Someone must be doing it server side though cause I don't have a bayesian spam blocker. Moreover, most sites on the net claim a 99% accuracy rate with 0 false positives (emails that aren't really spam but get marked) but whoever is doing this server side must be doing something wrong because when my mom wrote an email to me about my credit card it got marked as spam. Go figure. Is this just me, or is anyone else getting anything like this? It could be an sru thing, it might be a Yahoo thing, I just don't know.

P.S. I haven't posted to the blog from MY pc in a while which explains the norton thing. I've been doing it from the lab. Yesterday was the first time I've posted from my pc since you posted the "echo j" thing.

P.P.S.S. That's right. I get spanish spam. My host family from Oaxaca sent me chain mail. Blah.

Norton says teh blog is O.K. YAY!
